Visit at sunset into the early evening, when floodlights turn the rock to gold and tour groups have left. Mornings bring strong winds and spray that can soak cameras, so late afternoon is the safer window.

概要
クイックファクト: およそ100万年前、海中から押し出された火山溶岩が固まって、波の水を飲んでいるように見える高さ10メートルの龍の頭になった。地元の言い伝えによると、伝説の龍が雷に打たれて、水を飲んでいる途中で石に変えられたという。日没後は投光器の光を受けて岩が金色に輝く。
見どころ: 干潮時には海岸沿いの遊歩道から、波が口に打ち寄せる中、龍の巻いた鼻面と開いた顎がはっきり見える。夜7時以降に訪れるのがおすすめ。色付きの投光器が岩を照らし、形成全体が黒い海に浮かぶ燃える残り火のように見える。
