クイックファクト: 波打つ石造りのベンチとカラフルなモザイクが目を引き、座ると目の前に広がる街並みと空がまるでパノラマ絵画のように溶け合う。入口近くのトカゲのモザイクは観光写真の定番で、その細かな色彩は何千ものタイル片が寄せ集められてできていると知ると驚かされる。
見どころ: アントニ・ガウディが設計した曲線の長椅子は、連続した波形で約110メートルあり、モザイクの破片が日光を受けて朝には金色と青がきらめく景色が広がる。中央の階段に鎮座する小さなモザイクのトカゲは地元で「ドラッ」と呼ばれ、地元の子どもたちが願い事をして触るという小さな習慣が今も続いている。
