クイックファクト: ラス・パルマスの海岸線に沿って3キロメートル以上に広がるこの都市型ビーチは、自然の沖合サンゴ礁が防波堤の役割を果たすため、実は海洋保護区に指定されています。黄金色の砂は、嵐で元のビーチが流失した後、1970年代にサハラ砂漠から運ばれたものです。
見どころ: 干潮時には、海岸と平行に走る火山性サンゴ礁のラ・バラまで歩いて行けます。そこには穏やかで浅い潮だまりがあり、小さなカニやヒトデがたくさん生息しています。地元の人々は夕暮れ時にここに集まり、背後で街の灯りがともり始める中、サンゴ礁に波が打ち寄せるのを眺めます。

- 北端（ラス・カンテラス・コーナー）まで歩いて行くと、前景にサンゴ礁を入れた最高の夕日写真が撮れます。
