クイックファクト: 主祭壇の下の地下礼拝堂は、その上の部分よりまる一世紀古く、ロマネスク様式の下教会にゴシック様式の上教会が重なる。1941年の火災は旧市街のほぼ全域を焼き尽くしたが、再建された聖堂は今も守護聖人エメテリオとケレドニオの聖遺物を守っている。

見どころ: 入り口は実のところ下り道だ。階段は丘の奥深く、湿気と古い石の匂いが漂う暗いロマネスク様式の地下礼拝堂へと通じる。そこには守護聖人の聖遺物を納めた古代の石棺が横たわり、その上には狭い螺旋階段を抜けてゴシック様式のヴォールトがそびえる。二つの聖所が互いに寄り添うように重なっている。
