クイックファクト: この美術館は、鮮やかなビーチシーンで有名なバレンシアの画家ホアキン・ソローリャの旧宅兼アトリエを占めている。彼の作品1,200点以上がここに保存され、3つのギャラリーと彼自身がデザインした緑豊かな庭園にわたって展示されている。
見どころ: ソローリャはアンダルシア風の庭園の木や低木をすべて自身で植え、中庭を生きたパレット兼屋外アトリエとして使用した。彼が最も有名な作品のいくつかを描いた場所に、同じレモンの木や陶器の噴水が今も景色を縁取る中、そのまま立つことができる。
