見どころ: かつてこの場所に君臨していた壮大な宮殿は、1825年の一夜で灰燼に帰した。デ・ラ・ガルディ家のマカレスで開かれた舞踏会の最中、炎が窓をなめ尽くし、岸からは何千もの人々が見守るなかだった。1998年に日本から送られたサクラが今は遊歩道沿いに立ち並び、毎年春になると広場はピンクの回廊と化し、地元の人々はそれを非公式の祝日のように扱う。
