クイックファクト: 二つの巨大なガラスケースには、科学的高度な精度で配置された120体以上の剥製鳥類が飛翔中に凍りついたように展示されている。野外博物館には、地域各地から移築された60棟の歴史的な建物が立ち並び、職人が時代衣装をまとい、タール作りや薪窯でのパン焼きなどの工芸を実演している。

見どころ: 一室には1930年代の薬局の実物大レプリカがあり、オリジナルの木製引き出しを実際に開けて、中に残る乾燥ハーブの香りを嗅ぐことができる。ボートホールには、乗船可能な19世紀の沿岸スクーナー船が完全な状態で保存されており、その松材の甲板は、タールや木材を運んだ実際の船員たちの長靴で今もなお滑らかに磨き上げられている。
