クイックファクト: 紙管がこの建物全体の驚くべき建築材料で、58本の中空の柱がその重量を支えています。教会は日本で解体され、海を越えて運ばれ、両国のボランティアチームによって台湾で再組み立てされました。
見どころ: 夕日が差すと、紙のように薄い壁を通して温かい光が建物全体を照らし、内部から金色に輝きます。1995年の阪神・淡路大震災と1999年の台湾大地震のボランティアたちが肩を並べて手作業で再建し、紙の柱を人間の組立ラインのように次々と手渡ししました。
