クイックファクト: 頂上からは何マイルも続く絶景が広がり、眼下には輝く灯りの海の中で生き生きとした街の鼓動が感じられます。内部はアールデコ調のデザインで、エレベーターの速さは未来へと突き進んだ時代の勢いを思い起こさせます。
見どころ: 夜には塔のライトが色を変え、祝日や特別なイベント、さらには地元のスポーツチームの応援まで行います。2012年に設置されたLEDシステムにより、1600万以上の組み合わせが可能です。大恐慌時代には、1931年完成直後に長く空室だったことから「空っぽの州ビル」と呼ばれていましたが、現在では賑わう象徴的存在としての対照をなしています。
