概要
クイックファクト: 3人のフランス人請負業者が競って建設したネオ・ロマネスク様式の大聖堂で、1877年から1883年にかけて建てられました。すべてのレンガはマルセイユから船で運ばれ、高さ58メートルの鐘楼が追加されたのは1895年のことです。
見どころ: 正面広場に午後5時頃に立つと、夕日が赤レンガのファサードを照らし、大聖堂全体が琥珀のように輝きます。双塔にある21の大きな鐘は今でも手で鳴らされており、一人の鐘つき係が140段の階段を登って鐘を鳴らします。
