Korte feiten: Het museum bevindt zich in een gebouw uit de 19e eeuw in Ottomaanse stijl dat ooit dienst deed als familiehuis, met kamers die bewaard zijn gebleven om te laten zien hoe welgestelde huishoudens in Shkodër leefden. De collectie omvat archeologie, etnografie en de moderne politieke geschiedenis van de stad, waaronder een opmerkelijke galerij gewijd aan het Albanese nationale ontwaken.

Hoogtepunten: Ga naar boven en je vindt er een volledig gemeubileerde kamer die een traditioneel Shkodër-huis nabootst, compleet met de enorme houten kisten die bruiden ooit naar hun huwelijk meedroegen.
