Insidertips
- Visit early in the morning on weekdays to find yourself almost alone in front of the towers, as thousands of visitors arrive on weekends.
- Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water; the walk from the entrance to the monument is nearly a kilometer under the sun.
- The best photographic angle is from the reflecting pool at the foot of the monument, where the towers are perfectly mirrored.
- Avoid national holidays if you are looking for peace and quiet; on March 26 and December 16 the place is completely full.
