Korte feiten: Elke zondag komen honderden lokale bewoners hier samen om te handelen in vintage boeken, postzegels en munten op de beroemde Buchi Plazas-markt. Het bronzen standbeeld van Simón Bolívar in het midden is gegoten uit kanonnen die zijn buitgemaakt in veldslagen uit de 19e eeuw.
