Hoogtepunten: Slip down to the Medici Fountain and you’ll hear water sluicing over scalloped stone as a reclining nymph and a bronze tarasque stare from opposite sides, a sculptural duet credited to Auguste Ottin. Around twenty children often race tiny wooden boats on the octagonal pond while a hand-cranked Guignol puppet troupe performs cheeky, satirical skits beneath the chestnut trees.
