Hoogtepunten: Glij de schemerige stenen trap af en je vindt de Ardagh Kelk in de schijnwerper, met zilveren en gouden filigraan uit de 9e eeuw bezaaid met kleine blauwe glazen kralen die oplichten als confetti wanneer het licht erop valt. Lokale bewoners fluisteren nog steeds dat de Ardagh Schat opgegraven werd door twee jongens in 1868 na een dag spelen in een veld, en een nabijgelegen veenlijk, de Clonycavan Man, heeft een 2.000 jaar oud kapsel bewaard met dennenhars dat je bijna ruikt als conservatoren zijn kist openen.
