Korte feiten: This sandy beach occasionally completely disappears during winter storms, only to return with the spring waves. Local swimmers have been coming here for decades for the crystal clear water and the view of Manoel Island with its small fort.
Hoogtepunten: At low tide, natural pools appear between the rocks with water warmer than the sea, which locals know as an open-air "jacuzzi." At dusk, the sun sets right between the two headlands, so the whole beach takes on a golden color that few manage to capture in photographs.

- Jumping off the rocks is popular, but make sure to check the water depth first because the level changes with the tide.
- Wear waterproof sandals because the entrance to the sea is over rocks and gravel, so barefoot steps are often uncomfortable.
- The best photos are taken from the top of the cliffs on the eastern side, especially during the golden hour.
- No matter how tempting it looks, avoid swimming right after big storms because of strong currents.
