Korte feiten: Tien oorlogsschepen, onderzeeërs en andere vaartuigen liggen samengebonden om het grootste drijvende maritieme museum ter wereld te vormen. Bezoekers kunnen door de nauwe gangen van een echte onderzeeër kruipen en in de geschutskoepels van een 76 meter lange destroyer klimmen.
Hoogtepunten: Je kunt direct in de draaiende geschutskoepel van de destroyer HMS Småland staan en door dezelfde vizieren kijken die de kanonniers gebruikten tijdens de Koude Oorlog. Het hele museum drijft op de Göta-rivier, dus elke ruimte heeft een zachte deining die je eraan herinnert dat dit echte werkende oorlogsschepen waren.

- Wear flat shoes with good grip: ladders between decks are steep and metal, especially inside the submarine.
- Bring a light jacket even in summer, the river wind cuts through the open decks and the metal interiors stay cool.
