Korte feiten: El paso alcanza una altitud de 1.914 metros, siendo el punto más alto accesible en carretera en Vietnam. Su trazado serpentea sobre 19 curvas cerradas, ofreciendo vistas panorámicas increíbles del valle de Muong Hoa.
Hoogtepunten: El tramo más impresionante es la curva número 9, donde la carretera se ajusta literalmente al borde de un acantilado con una caída de cientos de metros. Desde allí se puede ver cómo las nubes parecen rozar las copas de los árboles y un tren de mercancías cruza el valle abajo.
