Fatos rápidos: Os três picos de granito se erguem até 2800 metros, e no parque vivem livremente cerca de 100 pumas, que na maioria das vezes são vistas ao amanecer caçando. O território nacional abarca 2400 quilómetros quadrados, e a água nos lagos glaciares brilla num turquesa lechoso devido à farina glacial.
Destaques: Ao amanecer, justo antes de o sol nascer, os três picos de granito brilham num laranja flamejante, um espetáculo que dura apenas cerca de 20 minutos, como brasas ardentes no vale sombreado. Quando te aproximas da laguna sob eles, o ar cheira a granito frio e montaña molhada, e a farina glacial torna a água azul pastel.

- Wear three layers of clothing and a waterproof jacket, because the wind in Patagonia can jump to 120 kilometers per hour in minutes.
- Book accommodation in the refugio months ahead for the summer season, when the places get filled up to 90%.
- Go out with a headlamp at dawn for the pumas, and for the clearest shot of the towers, aim your lens right around 6:30 before the sun rises.
