Fatos rápidos: A torre de pedra de quatro andares data do final dos anos 1860 e se eleva a 30 metros acima das construções vizinhas. Embora tenha servido como torre de vigia e prisão, hoje sua principal função é abrigar o relógio da cidade, cujo badalar ecoa por todo o centro.
Destaques: No topo, há um sino de 450 quilos que soa a cada hora cheia, e seu som grave se mistura ao barulho das ondas do porto próximo. Se você subir os 82 degraus íngremes de pedra até o topo, terá uma vista dos telhados da cidade, dos recifes de coral e, em dias claros, até da ilha de Moorea ao longe.
