Fatos rápidos: A cada ano, no Dia de Ano Novo, 25.000 espectadores lotam este estádio para ver saltadores de esqui voarem mais de 140 metros pelo ar. A torre de 60 metros de altura e os terraços foram esculpidos diretamente na encosta da montanha Gudiberg para os Jogos Olímpicos de Inverno de 1936.

Destaques: Na manhã de Ano Novo, todo o vale se enche com o rugido de 25.000 fãs enquanto os saltadores de esqui se lançam da rampa iluminada a velocidades superiores a 90 km/h. O estádio foi esculpido na encosta da montanha usando 40.000 metros cúbicos de pedra local, dando-lhe a sensação de um antigo anfiteatro esculpido para rituais de esportes de inverno.
