Fatos rápidos: Um pequeno jardim zoológico na margem do lago Petén Itzá oferece a oportunidade de ver mais de 50 espécies de animais da região e da América Latina em geral. Entre os habitantes encontram-se antas, onças, macacos e crocodilos, que podem ser observados a curta distância.
Destaques: A maior atração é a possibilidade de ver onças num espaço que lembra o seu habitat natural de selva, a poucos metros de distância. Os crocodilos vivem numa secção com vista direta para o lago, lembrando que a natureza selvagem está mesmo ali à esquina.
