Fatos rápidos: Esta mesquita de 36 metros de altura foi construída pelo rei Carol I em 1910 para a comunidade muçulmana da Romênia. Da torre, avista-se todo o centro histórico de Constanța e o Mar Negro.
Destaques: Ao ficar no interior da mesquita ao meio-dia, a luz solar atravessa as 24 janelas de vitrais coloridos e incide exatamente sobre o nicho de oração. Os padrões de azulejos cerâmicos repetem os da Mesquita do Sultão Ahmed em Istambul, pois foram feitos pelos mesmos artesãos.
