Fatos rápidos: Estendendo-se por mais de 12 quilômetros de litoral mediterrâneo acidentado, este parque protegido abriga três distintas torres de vigia do século XVI construídas para defender contra ataques de piratas. Mais de 300 espécies de plantas prosperam aqui, incluindo a rara palmeira-anã-do-mediterrâneo e oliveiras selvagens que sobreviveram por séculos.
Destaques: A rede de trilhas de caminhada de 14 quilômetros segue os antigos caminhos de pastores que não mudaram em 400 anos, serpenteando por muros de calcário em ruínas e enseadas escondidas onde tartarugas marinhas às vezes fazem ninho. Uma trilha leva à Torre de la Sal, uma torre de vigia que ainda carrega cicatrizes de balas de canhão do ataque pirata berbere de 1587.
