Fatos rápidos: Three surviving copies of Magna Carta exist, and Lincoln Cathedral houses one of them in its stunning vaulted chapter house. Its central spire once made it the tallest building in the world at 160 meters, until a storm knocked it down in 1549.
Destaques: Look up at the ceiling of the Angel Choir and you will spot over 300 carved angels staring back at you, each with different expressions and poses. The medieval "Lincoln Imp" carved into a pillar is a mischievous little stone creature with a crossed leg, and legend says an angel turned an imp to stone mid-mischief right here.
