Краткие факты: Это старейший действующий маяк на Адриатике, его свет впервые зажегся в 1818 году. Электричество он получил только в 1960 году, а до тех пор его обслуживали три смотрителя, сменяя друг друга в восьмичасовые смены.
Основные моменты: Камень для его строительства доставляли кораблями из каменоломни на острове Брач, из того же самого, из которого построен и дворец Диоклетиана в Сплите. С высоты 36 метров открывается вид на три государства сразу: Хорватию, Словению и Италию, а в ясные дни видны даже очертания Альп.
