Get the Thessaloniki City Pass if you plan on seeing the museums and the White Tower. Saved us about 15 euros each and you skip the ticket lines.
Thessaloniki is way more chill than Athens but still has great food. The waterfront area at sunset is gorgeous. 3 days felt about right for us.
Loved the food scene here. Bougatsa for breakfast changed my life. Only complaint was the stray dogs everywhere, made me nervous walking at night.
Skip the fancy restaurants along Nikis Avenue. Walk into the side streets near Athonos Square for souvlaki at half the price and double the flavor. Locals eat there.
Honestly found it a bit meh compared to other Greek cities. The city beach is not great and the traffic is chaotic. Would skip if you have limited time in Greece.
