Краткие факты: Стены этого монастыря до сих пор хранят 900 фрагментов оригинальных фресок XIX века, включая редкую технику, сочетающую масляную краску и темперу. Два главных колокола весят 520 кг и 1 200 кг соответственно и звонят каждое утро в 6:00.
Основные моменты: За главным алтарем скрыта небольшая подземная часовня, доступ к которой возможен только через тайную дверь за иконостасом. Стены часовни покрыты тысячами кусочков мозаики, сделанных вручную монахами, пережившими Вторую мировую войну. Ни один кусочек мозаики не повторяется.
