Краткие факты: Этот водопад, низвергающийся с красных скал, является единственным крупным естественным источником воды, впадающим в озеро Киву, и не теряет своей мощности даже в сухой сезон. Местные жители верят, что вода целебная; каждый год в августе вокруг водопада проводится традиционный праздник воды.
Основные моменты: За водопадом есть небольшой вход в пещеру, через который можно пройти за грохочущей водой; внутри воздух постоянно прохладный и эхом разносится звук воды. По рассказам местных детей, в глубине пещеры, как считается, живёт старуха, которая каждый сезон дождей учит водопад новой песне.

- Wear shoes with waterproof soles against slippery rocks; the ground near the waterfall is always wet.
- You can climb onto the large rock in front of the waterfall and step barefoot into the water, but the rocks are very slippery.
- For the best photo spot, try the wooden platform on the left side of the waterfall; the light looks wonderful from here at sunset.
- On minibuses coming from Kibuye, just say "Ndaba" to the driver before getting off, and they will drop you at the village entrance.
