Step inside and the echoing nave, glittering iconostasis, and nearly floor-to-ceiling frescoes make the space feel both intimate and vast, while the crypt contains a chapel with revered relics.
Poudarki: Built between 1882 and 1912, the cathedral's bell tower holds 12 bronze bells whose deep chords make the marble floors and stained-glass windows vibrate when they're rung on major feast days.
