Hitre informacije: The wool trade from the Patagonian estancias gave reason for the construction, and a strong storm in the 1940s destroyed the original wooden deck. The current replica, 125 meters long, is assembled from local lenga hardwood and has welcomed pedestrians since 2021.

- Plan your photo session for the west side before sunset, when the peaks turn pink and the water becomes coppery.

- Do not go only to the pier, combine it with the Cerro Mirador viewpoint for a panorama over the entire bay.
