Hitre informacije: Wartime air raids flattened so many buildings that their rubble raised this ridge by about 40 meters. Nearly 1.5 million cubic meters of debris now cap the 511-meter summit, with broken stair steps and window frames poking through the soil.
Poudarki: Look down at your feet as you reach the plateau and you'll spot carved balustrades and colonnade pieces that once fronted grand city buildings. The top is crowned with a cross placed in 1954, and trails through the gray rubble are flecked with red bricks and shattered window glass.
