- Stand on the open deck on the right side of the ferry for the best view of Valletta upon arrival. Avoid the periods between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning and 5:00 and 6:00 in the evening when locals are returning from work. If you are not in a hurry, skip the bus and one departure, and enjoy the wind on the upper deck. Combine the ferry arrival with a walk along the Sliema coast, which is over 2 kilometers long.
