Hitre informacije: The dune towers roughly 120 meters above the Namib Desert floor, making it the tallest accessible dune in the Swakopmund area. Walking up its shifting sands takes about 45 minutes, and the panoramic view from the top stretches from the Atlantic coast to the distant mountain ranges.

Poudarki: Around midday, the dune's ridge seems to glow with a warm amber light as the sun hits the sand at the perfect angle, creating shadows and curves that shift every few minutes. Sand temperatures at the surface can hit 50°C by early afternoon, so the shade side of the dune offers a completely different, cooler world just steps away from the scorching crest.
