- Bring binoculars, because the crowns of the dwarf trees are dense and many birds are perfectly visible just a few meters away.
- Start your tour before 7 a.m. to experience the largest troops of monkeys. In the afternoon, they retreat into the dense treetops.
- Pack insect repellent with a high DEET content; the sand flies here are particularly aggressive and leave itchy bites for days.
