Hitre informacije: Around 80 orphaned and injured elephants live and roam freely across the 25-acre riverfront property. Every morning around 10am, the herd marches through the streets to the nearby river for their daily two-hour bath, a procession that draws thousands of visitors.

One elderly mahout named Somapala has cared for the same blind elephant named Tikiri for 35 years, and she recognizes his footsteps and voice instantly.
