Snabba fakta: Perched on a vine-covered hilltop, this estate rewards visitors with sweeping views across the Neckar valley and the Stuttgart skyline. Around 300,000 people climb its winding paths each year to see its medieval walls and underground cellars.
Höjdpunkter: Behind thick stone walls, an 18-meter-deep cistern still collects rainwater, and you can hear drips echo across the chamber from the top. The original grape press, operated manually for nearly 400 years, sits intact in the old winery and smells faintly of oak and fermented must.
