Höjdpunkter: Head downstairs to the meat and dairy section where a dozen vendors sell curd cheese called varškė, still warm and wrapped in cloth right from the farm. The salty, tangy smell of fermented cucumbers and sauerkraut barrels hits you before you even reach the basement steps.

- Bring your own reusable bag, vendors rarely provide plastic bags and you'll likely buy more than expected.
- Skip the upstairs cafes and grab a coffee from the kiosk near the main entrance for a fraction of the price.
