Entry is completely free, and the same goes for swimming in the sea directly from the rocks. The ferry to Valletta costs about 2 euros one way, and coffee in local cafés is twice as cheap as in tourist restaurants on the promenade itself.

Snabba fakta: Längs denna kust sträcker sig cirka 1,3 kilometer promenad med utsikt över Valletta över hamnen. Längs själva kusten finns flera badplatser med stegar som möjliggör direkt inträde i havet utan strand.
Höjdpunkter: När solen går ner ser du hur hela Valletta förvandlas till en lysande kuliss över vattnet, och färjorna som transporterar passagerare var 30:e minut tar dig på bara 10 minuter till andra sidan hamnen. I slutet av promenaden, vid Tigné Point, står resterna av befästningar från 1500-talet sida vid sida med moderna glaskaféer, vilket skapar en otrolig kontrast mellan gamla stenmurar och modern arkitektur.

- Bring water shoes, the rocks are slippery and sharp when entering the sea.
- The best photo is from the end of the promenade at Tigné Point, from which you can see all of Valletta in the frame.
- The Bugibba side sunset is beautiful, but there is the least crowd on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, when the locals are working.
- The ferry to Valletta is more cost-effective than a taxi, and the line departs every half hour until midnight.
