Snabba fakta: Sprawling across 345 acres, this regional park features a 10-acre lake stocked with catfish and bass that draws anglers year-round. More than 30,000 native trees were planted throughout the grounds, creating shaded groves perfect for picnics and quiet strolls.
Höjdpunkter: On summer evenings, thousands of bats emerge from specially built bat houses near the lake, swooping over the water in a spectacular natural display as the sun sets. The park's dedicated "no noise" zone on the eastern edge offers something rare in Orange County: genuine silence where you can hear nothing but wind through the eucalyptus trees.
