Walking across the bridge is completely free. If you want the best photo, it is worth renting a boat with a rower for 50,000 VND (about 50 CZK) for 20 minutes. You will ride directly under the bridge.

Snabba fakta: Varje kväll lyses bron upp växelvis i sju färger, vilket dagligen lockar över 10 000 besökare till en promenad längs dess 402 meter. Under dess valv glider dussintals sightseeingbåtar fram som erbjuder utsikt över den upplysta staden från floden Hương.
Höjdpunkter: Under Vietnamkriget bombades bron två gånger och varje gång återuppbyggde lokalbefolkningen den med egna händer av originalmaterial som bärgats ur floden. På natten samlas unga par på bron för att ge varandra sin första kyss i skenet av de färgade ljusen - lokalbefolkningen kallar den "de förälskades bro".

- Photographers should arrive at 6:30 PM to capture the blue hour and the first lighting of the bridge in one shot.
- Instead of walking on the bridge, sit in the tea house on the left bank. From there you have the whole bridge in perspective and the crowds are not pushing you.
- Avoid Saturday evenings, when the bridge is most crowded with locals and tourists.
- Take a light jacket even in summer. In the evening a pleasant cool wind blows from the river.
