About
Quick facts: The Roman mosaics, covering thousands of square meters, were only discovered in 1959 in the center of present-day Constanța. The park offers a rare opportunity to walk directly over more than 3,000 years of history, where layers of Roman, Greek, and Byzantine civilizations are visible exactly where they once stood.
Highlights: The most breathtaking sight is the giant mosaic floor that once belonged to a wealthy Roman trade city called Tomis. Walking along the glass walkway, you see every mosaic tile beneath you, preserved for nearly 2,000 years thanks to being buried under the future city.

- Ponesite kremu za sunčanje i šešir, jer su mozaici u potpunosti na otvorenom i ima malo hlada.
- Najbolja fotografija uspijeva sa staklene staze, gdje se mozaici izuzetno jasno odražavaju u objektivu kamere.
- Obavezno pogledajte i ruševine rimskog svjetionika pored parka, koje posjetioci često previde.
