Quick facts: This 36-meter-tall mosque was built by King Carol I in 1910 for Romania's Muslim community. From the tower, you get a view of the entire Constanța Old Town and the Black Sea.
Highlights: When standing inside the mosque at noon, sunlight falls through 24 colorful stained glass windows precisely onto the prayer niche. The ceramic tile patterns echo those of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul, as they were made by the same craftsmen.
