حقائق سريعة: تقع هذه القلعة على تلة يبلغ ارتفاعها 130 مترًا فوق نقطة التقاء ثلاثة أنهار، وتحمي بوابة شمال ألبانيا منذ أكثر من 2400 عام. تقول الأسطورة إن الجدران بُنيت بمساعدة أم تمّ دفنها داخل البناء لكي يصمد، مما أعطى الموقع قصته الشهيرة عن "روزافا".
النقاط البارزة: أسطورة روزافا هي الجوهرة الحقيقية هنا، قصة مؤثرة عن عروس شابة دُفنت داخل القلعة لكي يصمد البناء. اصعد الخطوات الحجرية وستظل ترى عظام الماشية والطوب الذي يتركه الزوار كقرابين لروحها، وهو تقليد استمر لقرون.

- Wear sturdy shoes, the cobblestone path up the hill is steep and slippery after rain.
- Head to the highest tower on the southern wall for the best photo of the three rivers meeting below.
- Bring water and a snack, there are no vendors inside the fortress grounds.
- Arrive early in the morning to avoid tour groups that typically arrive mid-day from Tirana.
