حقائق سريعة: الصعود 443 درجة إلى قمة البرج الذي يعود للعصور الوسطى يكافئك بإطلالات بانورامية حيث تلتقي ثلاث دول: النمسا وسلوفاكيا والمجر. تمتد أسوار القلعة لأكثر من 500 متر وقد بنيت باستخدام الحجر الجيري المنقول من محجر يبعد 8 كيلومترات.
النقاط البارزة: لم يتم احتلال القلعة في معركة قط، ولذلك بقيت هندستها المعمارية القوطية الأصلية سليمة بشكل ملحوظ. داخل البرج، لا يزال بإمكانك رؤية كتابات عصرية من العصور الوسطى محفورة على الجدران الحجرية بواسطة حراس ملل من القرن الخامس عشر.

- Wear sturdy shoes with good grip: the stone steps can be slippery after rain.
- Arrive by 9 am on weekends to have the summit almost to yourself.
- Bring binoculars to spot the three landmarks: Bratislava Castle, Devín Castle, and the Danube bend.
- Skip the direct stairs and take the longer forest path for a gentler ascent through old-growth trees.
