حقائق سريعة: تقع هذه القلعة التي تعود للعصور الوسطى على تل يطل على نهر الدانوب، وتتميز بأطول جدار دفاعي باق في النمسا بطول 250 متراً. وقد صمد برجها الذي يعود للقرن الثاني عشر في وجه حصارات متعددة، ويوفر إطلالات بزاوية 360 درجة على ثلاث دول في الأيام الصافية.
النقاط البارزة: على عكس معظم القلاع المرممة، يظل الجزء الداخلي للبرج خاماً عن قصد: جدران حجرية خشنة، وسلالم حلزونية مهترئة، وحاملات مشاعل أصلية من العصور الوسطى. يمكنك الوقوف في نفس غرفة الحراسة التي كان الجنود يمسحون منها النهر بحثاً عن جيوش مقتربة منذ أكثر من 800 عام.
