حقائق سريعة: Home to the largest remaining stand of old-growth Douglas fir trees in the Greater Vancouver area, some towering over 200 feet tall. The park's 75 hectares include 8 kilometers of trails and a granite shoreline that served as a filming location for the 1990s TV series "The X-Files."

• Check the tide tables before you go, low tide reveals tide pools with starfish, anemones, and tiny crabs along the southern shore.
