Early morning (6-8 AM) during the Suprabhata Seva when the temple is quieter and the rituals are most atmospheric. December to February offers pleasant weather for exploring the outer precincts.

Entry is free for the main shrine. Special darshan tickets cost around Rs. 50-100 if you want to skip queues during peak hours. Photography is allowed in the outer courtyard at no charge, but no cameras inside the sanctum.

حقائق سريعة: مكرس لكريشنا كتجسد لفيشنو، يترجم اسم المعبد إلى "سائق عربة أرجونا" من المهابهاراتا. يضم المقدس خمسة أشكال لفيشنو في محراب واحد، وهو أمر نادر بين معابد الفيشنوية في جنوب الهند.
النقاط البارزة: خلال مهرجان العربة السنوي، تُجر العربة الخشبية التي عمرها 400 عام في شوارع تريبليكان بواسطة مئات المصلين، وعجلاتها الضخمة تئن تحت ثقل التقاليد. تحتوي الجدران الداخلية للمعبد على 24 عمودا منحوتا بأسود وأساطير يالي، كل منها يروي قصته المنسية من البورانات.

- Visit on Saturdays when the temple sees special alankaram (decoration) of the deities with fresh flowers and jewels.
- Remove footwear at the designated counters outside, and bring socks to protect your feet from the hot stone floor in summer.
- The temple museum near the entrance displays ancient artifacts and inscriptions, most visitors walk right past it.
- Combine your visit with a walk through the surrounding Triplicane neighborhood, famous for its traditional filter coffee stalls and historic buildings.
