حقائق سريعة: تعيش هنا قرابة 200 نوع ونحو 1500 حيوان، من بينها النمور البيضاء وقرود المكاك ذات الذيل الأسدي والكوبرا الملكية. تعد حديقة الحيوانات هذه من الأقدم في الهند، وتقع وسط حديقة نباتية بمساحة 14 هكتاراً على مرمى حجر من متحف نابير.
النقاط البارزة: يعد بيت الزواحف والبرمائيات من الأقدم في البلاد، وقد شُيّد حول شجرتي بان يان تاريخيتين، حيث ما تزال الكوبرا الملكية وأفاعي البايثون تستلقي لتتدفأ. أما قرود المكاك ذات الذيل الأسدي، وهي نوع مهدد من جبال غات الغربية، فلديها حظيرة خاصة تتأرجح فيها بين الأشجار مباشرة فوق الممرات.
