النقاط البارزة: تأسس المكان عام 593 على يد الأمير شوتوكو، وما زال يحافظ على تخطيطه الأصلي من القرن السابع مع باغودا من خمسة طوابق وفناء حجري واسع حيث يتردد صدى الجرس المنخفض تحت ضلوعك. إذا وفقت توقيت زيارتك، يمكنك مشاهدة الرهبان وهم يؤدون طقوس النار الغوما بينما يرمي الزوار عود صلاة خشبي واحد في النار، ويمتلئ الهواء بدخان الصنوبر وخشب الصندل الحاد بينما يتفتت الرماد تحت الأقدام.
